Small Room, Light Color
A light colored paint will make small rooms look and feel larger – False!
Fact: If you think painting a small room a light color is the way to make the room seem larger, you’re not alone. It’s a common misconception, but a lighter color is actually not the solution. Using a light colored paint won’t make that small room appear larger. In fact, quite the opposite is true. A darker paint color will actually add depth to the walls and create the illusion of a larger, more spacious room. So, don’t be afraid to use color to not only add beautiful design elements to any space in your home but to also make those small rooms look and feel less small.
